Pacific Place

A towering celebration of Seattle artists.
Motion Design | Art Direction | Content Curation

Looking through the towering glass of Pacific Place’s pacific northwest-inspired glass sculptures, you will find a towering 23-foot tall screen projecting the beauty of Pacific Place and Seattle, as well as a collection of local artists and their work. We were proud to partner with NewReach to curate local designers, painters, and illustrators as part of their #ArtOfPacificPlace campaign.

Opening up the box
The focus of this full-scale retail center redevelopment project was to create a destination that pulls visitors through the space, from both the reconfigured southwest corner entrance, located on the downtown retail corridor, and the new South Lake Union-facing grand entrance.

Our solution
We curated three local artists that fit the aesthetic and tone of the new Pacific Place mall. With our deep roots within the Seattle artist community, we were quickly able to acquire static artworks, deconstruct each element, and animate each layer using a combination of Photoshop and After Effects.
